In the year 1963, José García Campoy got established as Malaga wines producer and founded BODEGAS GARCÍA GOMARA S.A., producing also table wine and other foodstuff. In the year 1994, José Manuel and Juan Ramón García López, sons of the founder, took business and created BODEGAS GOMARA S.L., having as their main target to promote their wines both outside and inside Spain, which was a complete turnabout regarding selling strategy and production, but maintaining the familiar character as well as the technical and commercial management.

BODEGAS GOMARA S.L. belongs to the Control Board for Designation of Origin "Málaga" and is proud of the quantity and variety of its range of products which, also due to their presentation and good service, are easy to introduce in any market. In proof whereof, this company is the only bodega in Malaga that after years of effort and dedication has managed to obtained through ageing under flor, a dry and pale vino generoso of delicate palate, called FINO GOMARA with an alcoholic strength of 15% vol.

The whole range of BODEGAS GOMARA S.L. products have been aged and manufactured in oak barrels in Malaga, and they all have 15º alcoholic strength. Thus, the Trasañejo wine is ready to consume when is six years old, what is over the minimum requirement of 5 years that the Control Board for the Designation of Origin "Málaga" demands.

It is also the only bodega in Malaga which has specialised in using bottles of different sizes and capacity with the shape of the bull-fighter, the gypsy, the guitar or the castanets which remind of the Spanish and Andalusian customs and are really popular at souvenirs shops, service areas, and specialised and delicatessen shops.
